and according to Wunderground, not a glimpse of sunshine for at least a week.

While I'm working on the 4th of July videos, here are a few miscellaneous photos. The first are from my daughter, Brenley. When they left their home in Vermont after ski season, their Christmas wreath was still on their door. When they returned for the summer, the wreath was home to a nest of robins! The fuzz on the little ones is beyond cute. Hopefully we'll be able to follow them to fledging.

Last night we tried the new eat-in Thai restaurant, "Mai Thai" - no relation to the new Thai truck carry-out. Odd Valdez went from no Thai restaurants to two at the same time. The truck (Gloy's Thai Food) was really busy yesterday. Their location, across from the post office, is great. There are no mailboxes in Valdez so everyone has to go to the PO for their mail.

Here are our dinner choices from last night - luckily we decided to share!

Pad Puk Ruam Mit
(Stir Fry Pork with mixed vegetables, garlic and oyster sauce)

Yum Pla Muk
(Squid with chili pepper, onion, green onion, lime dressing and cilantro)
